This Privacy Policy explains how DIA-ry ("DIA-ry", "we", "us", "our") handles your information when you use the DIA-ry mobile app for iOS and iPadOS.

Overview
DIA-ry is a personal health tracking app that helps users log blood pressure and blood glucose information.
DIA-ry is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Information We Collect
1) Information you enter in the app
When you use DIA-ry, you may enter:
- Blood pressure values (systolic, diastolic, pulse)
- Blood glucose values and context (measurement type, meal slot, unit)
- Timestamps and optional notes/comments
- Reminder schedules and app preferences (for example: meal times, thresholds, notification settings)
2) Integration data (optional)
If you connect Google Sheets backup, DIA-ry stores integration-related data, such as:
- Google spreadsheet ID
- Google account identifier (if available from Google sign-in)
- Google OAuth refresh token required for backup sync
3) Analytics and diagnostics
DIA-ry uses Amplitude for basic product analytics (for example app open, export used, sync success/failure, and feature usage events).
We do not intentionally send your blood pressure or blood glucose measurement values to analytics events.
4) Data generated by your use of features
If you export CSV files, files are created on your device and only shared when you explicitly choose to share/export them.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Operate core app functionality (logging and displaying your records)
- Save your settings and reminder configuration
- Schedule local notifications that you enable
- Sync your data across your Apple devices via iCloud/CloudKit (when available on your device/account)
- Sync records to your Google Sheets account if you explicitly enable this feature
- Improve app reliability and usability through analytics and error monitoring
Where Data Is Stored
- On-device: Your records are stored locally on your device.
- iCloud/CloudKit: DIA-ry can sync app data through Apple CloudKit private database tied to your Apple account.
- Google Sheets (optional): If enabled by you, selected records are sent to your Google spreadsheet.
- Analytics provider: Limited analytics events are sent to Amplitude.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We share data only as needed to provide features you enable:
- Apple (iCloud/CloudKit) for cross-device sync
- Google (Sheets API) for optional backup you connect
- Amplitude for product analytics
Notifications
DIA-ry uses local notifications for reminders you configure.
You can manage or disable notifications at any time in iOS/iPadOS Settings.
Data Retention
- App records are retained until you delete them, uninstall the app, or disable related cloud/integration features.
- Data synced to iCloud/CloudKit is managed by Apple according to your Apple account and iCloud settings.
- Data written to Google Sheets remains in your Google account until you delete it.
- Analytics retention is managed by our analytics provider according to their retention settings and policies.
Your Choices and Controls
You can:
- Edit or delete records in the app
- Disable Google Sheets integration at any time
- Revoke notification permission at the OS level
- Export your data to CSV

Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information handled by DIA-ry.
No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
DIA-ry is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
International Transfers
Service providers (such as Apple, Google, and Amplitude) may process data in countries other than your own.
By using the app and enabling related features, you understand this processing may occur.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
